This project visualizes personal sensory awakening as resistance against societal anxieties, particularly government overreach and threats to essential programs. During treatments, familiar maps hues transform into surreal landscapes—rock formations, floating moss, and cleansing clay plains—symbolizing disrupted reality and the reclaiming of autonomy. Through watercolor mirroring, the project captures the first experience of color as a defiant act of truth-seeking, visualizing internal landscapes where color becomes a tangible force of freedom in an era of constraint.
